Stainless Steel Most Commonly Used Welding Method

1. Pre-Welding Preparation

2 Welding Parameters

High Temperature Oxidation Resistance

The antioxidant resistance of 321 and 347 is comparable to that of the other 18-8 austenitic stainless steels. Expose samples to high temperature laboratory atmospheres. The main difference between 321 and 347 is the slight alloying additive, but it does not affect the oxidation resistance. As a result, these test results are representative of two levels. However, oxidation rates are affected by intrinsic factors such as exposure and product morphology, and therefore these results should be considered only as the usual numerical value of these levels of antioxidant activity.
