316L is a kind of stainless steel coils containing molybdenum, the total performance of the steel is better than 310 and 304 stainless steel coils, at high temperature, when the concentration of sulfuric acid is below 15% or higher than 85%, 316L stainless steel coils has a wide range of uses. 316L stainless steel coils also has a good resistance to chloride corrosion performance, so usually used in the marine environment.

316L stainless steel coils's maximum carbon content of 0.03, can be used for welding can not be annealed and the need for maximum corrosion resistance of the use.


Corrosion Resistance

Corrosion resistance is superior to 304 stainless steel coils, and has good corrosion resistance in pulp and paper production process. and 316L stainless steel coils is also resistant to the erosion of marine and erosive industrial atmospheres.


Heat Resistance

316L stainless steel coils has good oxidation resistance at 1600 degrees of intermittent use and continuous use below 700 degrees. In the 800-1575-degree range, it is best not to continue to function. 316L stainless steel coils, but the temperature range outside the continuous use of 316L stainless steel coils, the stainless steel coils with good heat resistance. 316L stainless steel coils resistance to carbide precipitation is better than 316 stainless steel coils, can be used above the temperature range.


Heat

The solution is annealed in a temperature range of 1010-1150 degrees and then cooled rapidly. 316L stainless steel coils cannot be hardened for overheating treatment.


Welding

316L stainless steel coils has good welding performance. All standard welding methods can be used for welding. Welding can be used according to use, respectively, using 316Cb, 316L or 309Cb stainless steel coils filler rods or electrodes for welding. In order to obtain the best corrosion resistance, the welding section of 316 stainless steel coils needs to be welded back fire treatment. If 316L stainless steel coils is used, no soldering back fire treatment is required.

In custody should pay attention to moisture, dust, oil, lubricants and so on, as well as surface rust, or poor corrosion resistance of welding. When immersed in water between the foil and the substrate, the corrosion rate is faster than that of the film without the foil. The warehouse should be kept in a clean, dry and easy ventilated place, to maintain the original packaging status, the film should be coated stainless steel to avoid direct light, the film should be periodically checked, if the film deterioration (film Life 6 months) should be replaced immediately, add pad paper when the packaging material soaked, to prevent surface corrosion should be immediately removed pad paper.
