The components and proportions of this high performance stainless steel spring steel is:

0.08%-0.15% C; 0.01%-0.60% Si; 0.02%-0.60% Mn; 0.01%-0.03% P; 0.002%-0.03% S; 12%-14% Cr; 0.8%-1.5% Mo, the remaining part is Fe.

 

The preparation method includes the following steps: molten steel smelting can be conducted according to chemical composition; hot rolling; annealing and pickling to obtain stainless steel disc billet; coating and drying; cold drawn; cleaning with neutral activator and then drying; quenching; tempering; coating and drying; drawing to get stainless steel spring steel wire. This kind of high performance stainless steel spring steel wire has characteristics of energy conservation and environmental protection, high corrosion resistance, high elasticity and high toughness. Difference between stainless steel spring wire and stainless steel compression spring

Stainless steel compression spring is a kind of stainless steel spring.

The stainless steel spring can be divided into tension spring and compression spring according to the different directions of "working force". The main difference lies in here.

is a versatile stainless steel, which is widely used to produce equipment and machine parts that require good comprehensive performance (corrosion resistance and formability).

 

301 stainless steel has a obvious hardening phenomenon when deformed, which is used for a variety of occasions which request high strength.

 

stainless steel is essentially a variety of 304 stainless steel which has a high carbon content; through cold rolling, it can get higher strength.

 

302B is a kind of stainless steel with high silicon content. It has good resistance to high temperature oxidation performance.

 

and 303Se are easy to cut stainless steel with sulfur and selenium, respectively.

 

and 303Se are free cutting stainless steel respectively containing sulfur and selenium. These are mainly used in occasions which have high requirement on free cutting and high surface finish.

  

303Se stainless steel can also be used to make parts need hot upsetting. Because under these conditions, this kind of stainless steel has good thermal machinability.

 

304L is a variety of 304 stainless steel with lower carbon content, used in occasions need welding. The lower carbon content makes the least carbide precipitated in the heat affected zone near soldering seam. And the precipitation of carbide might cause grain boundary corrosion(weld decay) of stainless steel in some environment.

 

304N is a kind of stainless steel containing nitrogen. The adding of nitrogen is for enhancing the steel strength.  

 

316(18Cr-12Ni-2.5Mo) material: with the adding of Mo, its resistance to corrosion, atmospheric corrosion and high temperature strength are extremely good. It can be used in harsh conditions. It has good hardening performance(no magnetism). Usage: production equipment for papermaking, oxalic acid, fertilizer and so on; photographing, food industry, coastal area facilities, ropes, CD rods, bolts, nuts.

 

The hardness of spring wire are as the following: the soft |1/4 hard | semi hard |3/4 hard | full hard |ultra hard |. Specifications: diameter of 0.08mm ~ 12.6mm.

 

The usage of stainless steel spring wire: the difference of stainless steel spring wire hardness result in different applications. They can be widely used in daily life as fine elastomer, vehicle spring wire, compression spring wire.

 

In essence, spring wire can also be classified as non magnetic spring wire and magnetic spring wire. Due to the excess of Mn element, the non magnetic spring wire has poor toughness. Magnetic spring wire is usually used on small items with low magnetic requirements. In appearance, the spring wire can be generally divided into fog surface spring wire and bright surface spring wire. The hardness of fog surface spring wire is higher than that of bright surface spring wire. It can be used as a wire hanger. It normally used in products with low appearance requirement and high elasticity.

 

310S Stainless Steel Spring Wire

Stainless steel grade: 0Cr25Ni20/1Cr25Ni20Si2

Chemical composition: C≤0.08,Si≤1.00,Mn≤2.00,P≤0.035,S≤0.030,Ni≤19.00-22.00,Cr≤24.00-26.00

Due to the content of 25%Cr,20%Ni, the 310S stainless steel is also called 2520 stainless steel.

It can resist the high temperature above 1150℃. The melting point is among 1398~1454℃.
